Five Star Women of Color advances economic mobility, workforce readiness, and culturally-rooted leadership development for women and girls across Maryland and beyond.

Our work is structured around three core pillars that create pathways to generational stability, professional advancement, and community confidence.

Our Approach

Five Star Women of Color uses community-centered engagement as an access strategy. We recognize that transformation happens when women feel seen, culturally affirmed, and supported. By blending economic education, professional exposure, and culturally rooted celebration, we create environments where confidence translates into action. We intentionally design initiatives that integrate economic education, workforce exposure, and culturally affirming engagement to create holistic advancement pathways.
